The Partnership
Antriksh Digital Solution LLP (“Antriksh”), incorporated in 2016, operates from Mumbai and provides high-quality, cost-effective headend equipment and turnkey solutions to the broadcast community in India.
Following the issuance of advisory by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) of India on installing bandpass filters to suppress interference signals from 5G trials in May 2022 and the subsequent launch of 5G service in October 2022, the demand for high-quality filters that can effectively protect the essential C-band satellite services has been increasing rapidly across the country.
Based on the specific requirements in India with 5G service being deployed in the 3300-3670 MHz range, AsiaSat is partnering with Antriksh to provide the market with a high-performance bandpass filter model BPF-3700T that AsiaSat has developed with optimised rejection and passband to reject 5G spectrum up to 3.65 GHz.
Antriksh Digital Solution: “We have successfully sold more than 200 units of AsiaSat BPF-3700T 5G interference rejection bandpass filters to various broadcasters and distribution platform operators across the country, including KCBPL, Home Systems, Intermedia Cable Communication, JPR Networks, just to name a few. Our clients are very happy with AsiaSat’s high-performance bandpass filters as they found the BPF-3700T model particularly effective in suppressing interference signals from nearby 5G base stations. We look forward to expanding our partnership with AsiaSat to serve the growing needs of the broadcast community as the nationwide 5G network is deploying in full swing."
