Administration Officer
Responsibilities:
- Provide full spectrum of administrative support for the department / teams such as:
- handle commercial invoices & bills on a timely basis
- handle travel arrangement, flight and accommodation booking, itinerary planning and expense reimbursement
- handle procurement related activities including sourcing, issue PO, follow up order delivery as well as billing and invoice settlement
- perform translation work, if required
- Provide full spectrum of general administrative duties including but not limited to general office management, office renovation, document management, contract / vendor management, inventory control & asset management etc.
- Handle Import license applications and Export / Import declarations
- Liaise with both internal customers, external suppliers and contractors to ensure services are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Perform general ad hoc duties as assigned by the department/ teams
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above in Business Administration or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in administrative/ secretarial field
- Possess a customer-service orientated approach to problem resolution and sustainable in high demanding working environment
- Well-organized, detail-minded, multi-tasking and able to meet tight deadlines
- Independent, a good team player with positive, proactive and flexible attitude
- Good command of written & spoken English & Chinese including Putonghua
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
- Immediate available is highly preferred
- Candidate with more experience might be considered as Senior Administration Officer / Secretary

Contract Accountant / Accounting Officer (Part-time: 3-day per week)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare full set of accounts and monthly financial and management reports for the subsidiary
- Manage general day-to-day financial operations
- Prepare supporting schedules for month-end closing
- Liaise and communicate with customers and other departments for any enquiries and requests in a timely manner
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with all policies and procedures
- Assist in ad-hoc assignments as when required
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma in Accounting or related discipline
- At least 3 years working experience in Accounting field
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV would be an added advantage
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- A good team player with can-do attitude and can work independently

Earth Station Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operation and maintenance of RF systems and antenna systems
- Responsible for project management of the RF systems and antenna systems
- Responsible for support and maintenance of all earth station baseband equipment, carrier monitoring system, terrestrial equipment and test equipment
- Responsible for support and maintenance of digital video baseband equipment and digital IP satellite communication equipment operation, such as MCPC and iDirect systems
- Responsible for the equipment setup for turnaround service
- Responsible for operation and maintenance of Teleport and Building infrastructure
- Provide and implement traffic failure restoration plans when necessary
- Provide satellite IOT support and traffic uplink & downlink services when necessary
- Provide support to internal and external customers. Occasional travel within the region and to overseas may be required
- Attend emergency call-out, special assignment and typhoon duties when necessary
- Willing and able to work in a rotational shift schedule
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma in Electronic or Communication Engineering or Building Service with minimum 3 years' relevant experience in RF & tracking antenna system operation & maintenance or Building Service maintenance.
- Candidate has less academic background but with more than 3 years' relevant experience will also be considered
- Experienced in digital video baseband equipment and digital IP satellite communication network operation, such as MCPC and iDirect systems, or experienced in M&C and BMS system
- Teleport and Earth Station facilities operation
- Good communication skills, able to work independently under pressure
- Good PC knowledge, IP technology, Microsoft office and Visio drawing
- Good written and spoken English. Fluent Putonghua

Overview:
Reporting to Chief Commercial Officer, this role will be responsible for achieving the Company growth and targets for new business and managing existing accounts for AsiaSat’s data and media services in EMEA and/or assigned regions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve the Company's revenue and growth objectives/targets
- Acquire new business to increase the market presence and manage existing accounts expansion
- Analyze the market and industry trends, customer segmentation and competitor activities to determine target customers/new business opportunities
- Work closely with the Operations and Product Management Teams to prepare high quality commercial proposals for the customers
- Prepare pipeline reports for review by Management on a regular basis
- Cultivate and manage relationships with exiting/potential customers so as to deliver an exceptional client service experience
- Perform ad-hoc projects as per request
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree required; emphasis on business and engineering is preferred
- In-depth knowledge in the telecom and satellite industry with minimum 8 years’ experience working in a sales role and customer management
- Demonstrated experience with complex bid/proposal management
- A strong team player and the ability to operate within a high pressure environment under tight deadlines

Senior Director, Data & Media Services
Overview:
Reporting to Chief Commercial Officer, this role will lead a sales team to oversee and drive the sales activities of AsiaSat’s data and media services to our premium customers in Asia Pacific and/or assigned regions. This role requires strong and solid skills in sales, negotiation and account management and in-depth knowledge of sales process/cycle in order to achieve the Company targets and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth, profitability and market presence in Asia Pacific and/or assigned regions
- Actively engage in analyzing the market and industry trends, customer segmentation and competitor activities to determine target customers/new business opportunities and allow the Company to have distinct advantages over competitions
- Fully accountable for revenue of data and media services sales so as to ensure the sustainability of its business stream
- Oversee the budget and ensure the sales objectives are achieved with the allocated financial resources
- Facilitate the team to build and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing customer needs and concerns so as to enhance customer experience and drive retention
- Work closely with all other departments/subsidiaries to leverage the total capabilities of the Company in creating a winning go-to-market strategy
- Keep management updated on pitching progress and sales funnel of the team in timely manner
- Perform ad-hoc projects as per management team’s request
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree required; emphasis on business or engineering preferred
- In-depth knowledge in the telecom and satellite industry with minimum 15 years’ experience working in a sales role and customer management
- Demonstrated experience with complex bid/proposal management
- Ability to provide sector-focused advice on the sale process from strategic positioning to close, help execute acquisitions, alliances and mergers, and analyze the ROI of an opportunity
- A strong team player, ability to motivate and inspire a team to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Ability to operate within a high pressure environment under tight deadlines
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
